PEERS® Social Skills Group for Teens
WHAT: The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for Adolescents is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated teens in middle and high school, who are interested in learning ways to make and keep friends.
The Teen program is open to clients 14-18 . Teens are taught social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations and practice these skills during group socialization activities.
This group is appropriate for motivated Teens with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ADD, Tourette’s, Social Anxiety, Depression, or no diagnosis.
The group will utilize evidence based approaches, while maintaining a Neurodiversity Affirming environment.
The PEERS group will be led by a Certified PEERS group leader, Dr. Jessi Langley.
Please note, this group REQUIRES an application and a screening.
If interested, you will be provided with information about our intake and screening process, which consists of an application, as well as an in-person screening session with your child. During the interview, we will be assessing the teen’s interest in learning how to make and keep friends, as the program relies heavily on self-motivation.
Submitting an application does NOT guarantee acceptance into the group.

DATES: Thursdays from 5:30 - 7 P.M. A group calendar will be provided and discussed at screening.
WHERE: This group will be IN-PERSON at 800 Kennesaw Ave NW, Suite 250, Marietta, GA 30060.
COST:
Initial application and review for screening are FREE.
In-person screening will be at NMPS. The cost is $150.00. A collaborative decision will be made at in-person screening about admittance to the group. If it’s determined this group is not of good clinical fit at that time, co-facilitator(s) will assist in connecting to appropriate resources.
The cost per group session is $150.00. Please discuss any financial hardship concerns with group facilitator(s) at screening for group sessions.
COMMITMENT:
Every week for 14 weeks consistent attendance is required. Exceptions to attendance and additional group details will be discussed at the group screening. Teens must be motivated and interested in attending the group. Teens must agree to participate in the group voluntarily. Parent or Social Coach must be willing to participate. Details to be discussed at screening.

WHAT: The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for Young Adults is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adults 18 - 30, who are interested in making and keeping friends and/or developing romantic relationships. Members are taught social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations and practice these skills during group socialization activities.
These groups are appropriate for socially motivated young adults with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Tourette’s, or no diagnosis.
The group will utilize evidence based approaches, while maintaining a Neurodiversity Affirming environment.
The PEERS group will be led by a Certified PEERS group leader, Dr. Jessi Langley.
If interested, you will be provided with information about our intake and screening process, which consists of an in-person screening session. During the interview, we will be assessing for the adult's social motivation, to include making/keeping friends, developing romantic relationships, and/or managing conflict and rejection.

DATES: The current group meets on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Time/date for the additional group will be determined. A group calendar will be provided and discussed at the screening.

Support Group - In Person - Neurodivergence
WHAT: North Metro Psychological Services is pleased to offer a support group for anyone in their mid-20s to 30s who identifies as neurodivergent and wants to connect with others in a safe, confidential therapeutic group space.
Participants will mainly focus on concerns related to neurodiversity at their discretion. However, facilitator(s) plan to provide education on topics that will include, but are not limited to, naming and defining sensory needs, comparing neurodiversity affirming and pathological models, understanding disability and burnout, defining and further understanding Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), unmasking and potential grief, work challenges, and neurodivergence throughout life.
This group will be ongoing and have a maximum of eight members at any given time.
WHEN: Group begins on 11/12/24.
DATES: Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M.
WHERE: This group will be IN-PERSON at 800 Kennesaw Ave NW, Suite 250, Marietta, GA 30060.

Virtual Support Groups - Neurodivergence
WHAT: North Metro Psychological Services is pleased to offer a virtual support group for anyone in their mid-40s to 60s who identifies as neurodivergent and wants to connect with others in a safe, confidential therapeutic group space.
Participants will mainly focus on concerns related to neurodiversity at their discretion. ADHD Support Group for Professionals
WHAT: Join our ADHD Support Group for Professionals, designed for working adults who may also be balancing the demands of parenting and managing a household. This group offers a safe, confidential space to connect with others who share similar challenges in managing ADHD in both professional and personal environments.
Participants will focus on discussing topics related to managing ADHD, such as balancing work and home life, improving organization and time management skills, handling workplace challenges, and strategies for reducing overwhelm. Facilitators will also provide education and facilitate discussions on practical ADHD strategies and creating healthy routines for long-term success. Led by Jazmin Eaves, M.Ed., ADHD-CCSP, ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and Neurodevelopmental Coach.

DATES/TIMES: Mondays from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. Specific group start dates will be confirmed soon.
WHERE: This group will be held virtually (online). Participants can join from the comfort of their own home or office.
COST: The cost per group session is $75 per participant. No screening required.
